End of Year Reflection (Ana Sofia Duque):
When the school year finally ends, we have fun and take the most memorable moments and cherish them. What I enjoyed the most about being in Curious Times is the lively atmosphere. When you get inside the room, people have smiles on their faces while they chat. But there’s also that one feeling when you finish an article or a comic and put it on the stream, a feeling of nervousness and excitement. As much as I do love the friends I have made in the 7th grade, I can’t wait for next year, even if I’m still going to be in this school or not. Overall, joining this club last year might’ve been the best decision I’ve ever made. If you’re a creative person and love writing or drawing, join this club.
Why I joined newspaper? (Laila Duque, Rua Kim and Shreela Lin):
What I enjoyed most about being a part of The Curious Times was being able to enjoy time with my friends after school. I will join this club again next year because I really liked being part of this club and I’ve been in this club since 6th grade. The school year is ending (yaey!!). This school year flew through me, and it feels as if last month school just started. I made new friends as well as moved on from other friends, and I really enjoyed the newspaper club. Getting to be with my friends and practice writing about things I'm actually interested in was great, the newspaper club was a fun and new experience for me.
