Tragic Yellowstone Crash

On May 1, a horrible tragedy occurred. A deadly car collision occurred just near Henry's Lake State Park, near Yellowstone National Park. Reports say that the crash started just before 7:15 p.m. on US Highway 20.

A tourist van carrying 14 tourists was heading east towards Yellowstone when it suddenly collided with a pickup truck that was driving west.
The collision caused a deadly fire. Many of the tourists managed to escape, but some did not manage to escape the deadly fire with their lives. When the firefighters arrived, there were at least eight tourists that were injured, some that were very severe. Police cars later arrived at the scene to start an investigation.
An air ambulance arrived at the scene later and took the victims who were severely injured to the hospital. The hospital has not yet confirmed their conditions.
Now, the number of casualties has been confirmed as 7 people perished. The reports are that the victims were 5 Chinese tourists, 1 Italian tourist, and the pickup truck driver. The identities of the victims have not been confirmed yet. Ada County Coroner’s Office is still working to confirm the identities of the deceased victims.
The crash has been stated as a huge tragedy. This accident was not one of the deadliest crashes in history, but it was a huge disaster. The families of the victims have been provided with protection and assistance as they suffer the loss of the victims who perished in the crash.
