Thanksgivings

You are interrupted by the smell of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and pumpkin pie as you walk into the dining room, you see colorful decorations, with a nice Thanksgiving meal on a large table. Well today we will tell you what we do on Thanksgiving day!

Josephine’s Experience

Hooray it's Thanksgiving break! Oh this Thanksgiving is going to be like every other. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A PARTY. But we don’t only celebrate Thanksgiving on that day, we also celebrate my brother's birthday all in one party. So we have to get ready for the guests, so I mop the entire house. When they arrive, we hang out with the guests, the aroma of the food gets stronger and stronger. So I went to take a peek at the food . . . oh . . . my . . . GOSH! There are trays of all sorts of food and they keep on coming! When they call us to eat, I go down to be greeted by MILLIONS OF DIFFERENT THINGS! Obviously there's turkey, mashed potatoes ,and everything else a party has to have including fruits and don’t forget the cake! This is going to be an awesome Thanksgiving for sure!

Elaine's Experience

(yawn) I wake to the scent of cinnamon buns, Chicken stew, and spices through the air. I change into some clothes and go to the living room for breakfast. We don’t usually celebrate Thanksgiving so it's just a chill day for us. We usually don’t eat turkey since we don’t really like it that much. But we replaced it with chicken or beef. My mom calls me to the kitchen and she lets me try some stuffing for the chicken. IT’S SOOOOO GOOD! Then she takes out the gravy and pours it onto the chicken. It smells heavenly! After Breakfast we would usually take a walk in the park or go somewhere special. After that we would go back home and just chill and maybe watch a movie at night and that's my Thanksgiving.

This is how we celebrate our Thanksgiving! How do you celebrate?
