Hi, all of you! It’s me, the person that HAS to write about Korea. During summer, thanks to the WHO (World Health Organization) declaring the COVID-19 pandemic over, a lot of people went to their origin country, including me and a lot of my friends. In this article, I’ll write about what I did in Korea, including my friends’ experiences.
Okay. First, me. I’ve just been eating a lot, going to places a lot, and doing a lot.
1: Eating. I’ve eaten things not in New York, but in Korea. This includes Tanghuru, Malatang, and other things that are actually in NYC, including bubble tea. Everything was delicious, so I recommend eating malatang and tanghuru if you come to Korea, also, if you don’t eat street food, under the laws of traveling, you are sinning. So you should make sure you eat the street food.
2: Places. I’ve been to Seoul, (cuz’ well, my family doesn’t live in Seoul) Cheongnamdae, (basically the vacation house of the president) and I also went fishing. Everywhere was amazing. If you are going to go to Korea, those are some of the places you should go. (Yeah, I’m speaking to you, Abby.)
3. Doing stuff. I've been doing a lot of stuff, including watching Korea preventing Germany from going into the 16th. (2nd place was prevented by 20th place lol) And also, I’ve been learning TikTok dances, including Me Too, Queencard, If We Ever Broke Up, and others. I also got glasses, even though I don’t need it.
I think I said enough about MY experience. Now, let’s ask my friends what they did overseas in Asia.
Chloe (Korea)
We ate good food and desserts (Shine Musket tanghuru, milk-flavored ice cream, etc.), we also went to the amusement park called Lotte World, and we did a lot of shopping for clothes and accessories. I bought K-pop albums for Stray Kids, Cravity, TxT, IVE, StayC, and Enhypen.
Stan Stray Kids.
Zora (China & Taiwan)
She went to a zoo and a planetarium, and she says that the zoo would be described as ‘Dong Who Gong Yan’ which is translated as ‘animal playground’. She also said that she went to an arcade, ate BBQ, and went to the beach twice, and she also wore Hanfu, which is Chinese traditional clothing.
