Is it just me or do you hear some Christmas bells? Are you and your friends ready for Christmas, but don’t know what to do? Well, you're at the right place. Here's some holly jolly activities to do for Christmas!
Books to Read
Don’t you sometimes just want to curl up on your bed and read a book? Here's some book recommendations.
Mint To Be (by Katie Cicatelli-Kuc)
The Afterlife of Holly Chase (by Cynthia Hand)
Carols and Chaos (by Cindy Anstey)
The Holiday Switch (by Tif Marcelo)
A Christmas Carol (by Charles Dickens)
Let it Snow (by John Green, Lauren Myracle, and Maureen Johnson)
Games to Play
If reading is not your cup of tea, here's some games to play.
Elves Under Hoof (A light-hearted, Christmas themed wargame where you lead reindeer against zombie elves in a tactical battle.)
Giftbringer (A print-and-play (PNP) roll-and-write game where players act as Vikings delivering presents to houses on a map to earn gratitude tokens.)
White Elephant (A party game where each person brings one wrapped anonymous gift; Players take turns choosing and unwrapping a gift or stealing one that's already been opened.)
Secret Santa (A gift exchange where participants are assigned a person to buy a gift for, and their identity as the gift-giver is kept secret.)
Charades (A word-guessing game where one person acts out a word or phrase without speaking while their team tries to guess it within a time limit.)
12 days (A card game where players try to win 12 rounds by playing the lowest-valued gift card each round.)
Dirty Santa (A gift exchange game where participants bring a wrapped gift within a set price range and take turns either picking a new gift or stealing an already opened one from another player.)
Movies to Watch
Movies on Christmas are a great way to spend Christmas. If you want to watch a movie, but don’t know what to watch? Here's some good movies to watch.
Home Alone (Home alone is a great classic movie to watch on Christmas. It’s suitable for children and is super fun.)
Polar Express (The Polar Express is a very cozy and favorite of many people.)
The Grinch (A holly jolly movie with a sprinkle of evil, suitable for all ages.)
A Charlie Brown Christmas (A Charlie Brown Christmas is a 1965 American animated television special. It’s a classic and everyone enjoys it.)
The Nightmare Before Christmas. (The film follows the misadventures of Jack Skellington, Halloweentown's beloved pumpkin king, who has become bored with the same annual routine of frightening people in the "real world.")
Elf (A movie about a human that was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised to adulthood among Santa's elves.)
Overall, these are some good Christmas activities to do on Christmas with any of your friends and family, and I wish everyone a great Christmas!
