The MS.158 Spring Concert!

Updated: Jun 26, 2023

To put on this magnificent show, however, many people had to contribute their time and effort to bring the concert all together. All the teachers, the administrative team, PTA, and other people supported this event to ensure that it was a success. Speaking about teachers, MS. 158’s chorus teacher, Ms. Allen, has agreed to an interview about her perspective about the concert!

Question: What is your favorite song that the chorus sang?

Answer: My favorite song is Joshua Fit The Battle Of Jericho.

Question: What was the hardest part of teaching the seventh grade and eighth graders?

Answer: Singing three part harmonies in small classes where there’s only a few people in each part, it’s hard to teach them together.

Question: How do you feel about the performance?

Answer: I feel good about the performance, I think that their singing has grown a lot since the winter concert and I am very proud of them.

In conclusion, the Spring Arts Concert was indeed a huge success. From beautiful artworks to amazing musical performances, it was clear that the arts are an important part of MS. 158. It left me inspired by the amount of people that came together to present us this wonderful show. So, congratulations to everyone who got involved in putting on such a remarkable performance!
