Have you ever gone to The Museum of Modern Art? Well if you didn’t, that’s okay, because M.S. 158 has created a mini version of it. Ms. Abamont and Mr. Gordon took the wonderful works from the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and showcased them all around the school. This year they updated the art gallery with outstanding pieces of art from the 6th graders. There are many different types of artworks on display like still-life drawings, digital art, photography inspired drawings, paintings, SEL vision boards, and pointillism.
These works of art based on Picasso himself display how there are many different perspectives and feelings put into drawing these pieces of work. You can find these art pieces around the main entrance, second floor, third floor, and to the right of the auditorium.
