The hockey season is in already well into December. As of this moment the New York Rangers are sitting in 1st place atop the Eastern Conference. This time last year, they were still developing, but towards the end of the 2020-2021 season the Rangers faded out of a play off spot. This year, they are out ahead of the pack early in the season.
