Well it's that time of year...no not Tax season...nope it's not the end of the school year. IT'S WINTER-FEST AT MS158. If you haven't noticed, well maybe you need to listen to the #morningmeetings more often (no seriously listen to the morning meeting).
What Is Winter-Fest?
Winter fest is when teachers and students decorate their homeroom with fun christmas and winter decorations! In addition, every class has the chance to go through a series of fun challenges to try to get the most points!
SNOW ANGELS:
The teachers and students could work together on making this snow angel door! Each student would take a picture of them making a snow angel. Once you make the background it'll look like all the students are making snow angels in the snow!
PENGUINS:
This door involves 3 penguins with a fun snowy and icy background! The students can help with adding all the details such as the penguin's nose or snowflakes in the background. The paper the penguins are holding could say "Having snow much fun in ___ grade" or "Having snow much fun in class ___!"
ELF: Ever watched the popular Christmas movie "ELF"? This door idea allows the students from the inside to be the face of the elf! When they stick their head in the window you can see them from the other side as an elf! Kids can also help out with making the elf or the background.
SANTA'S WORKSHOP:
This fun idea makes your classroom a workshop! The students can work making this door adding things like peppermints and fun bows and wreaths! This simple idea can be transformed with little details and more!
