This year and over the next few months, voters across the country are faced with the debate and decision on the next President of the United States: Joe Biden or Donald Trump.
Many citizens are still undecided on who they should vote for, since both Presidents have been disliked by many people. Many people share how nobody wants either person to be the President, some share how both candidates are nightmares. What do we know about both Presidents?
In my opinion President Trump is very unkind with his words. The way he has spoken against certain groups of people hurt the image of others. To me he is a modern-day bully. He also blamed Asian Americans for the COVID Pandemic, calling it “kung flu”. He blamed the Asians for everything and it made other people have a bad view on the Asian community. The only respect Trump had respect is for himself and not the people of America.
However, Biden isn’t any better. Most of America is convinced that Biden has failed America. Crime rates are higher, and many people, including my mother, are convinced that Biden has no concern for these problems at all. All he is doing is giving out pointless speeches and otherwise, trying to convince people that he is going the right way. He was nothing but an unconcerned President who does not have clear and solid solutions for any crimes, especially major ones, that have caused havoc to our city.
Now, the two Presidents are the top candidates for the upcoming presidential election. A Presidential election comes every four years. That means we have to choose between four years with either Trump or Biden! And four years! What would happen to our city?!
Four years with Trump could probably mean four years of different people getting treated unequally. As I am Asian, I worry about this, as I was teased for being Asian back in elementary school from a few kids. What would happen to everyone if Trump becomes President?
However, we shouldn’t look to Biden just because we don’t like Trump much. Biden is a failure, and right now, America has already had enough disasters with his reign. Biden is responsible for half the crimes in America being unsolved. He is too unconcerned about any crimes, with no problem of the crime rates in America rising. Another four years of Biden being President and America might as well get destroyed for good. We Americans might be as well finished if any more illegal immigrants come to America. That’s why Trump is not just the problem. Biden is not any better. These two presidents are both just trash.
So who will be the new President? Well it’s hard to decide. Four years of Trump would mean accepting four years of being treated unequally by him under his racist reign. But if we turn to Biden, America might simply be finished with Biden’s unconcern on any crimes that are happening, and his useless response to those crimes. All he does is give some “serious” speeches, which will not do anything that will solve the crime crisis. So what will we do? We don’t want six years with either of these President, because we would be choosing four years of two different tortures. No matter what we do, we’ll end up getting four years of torture. So which president will be better? No one knows.
