Everyone knows that the war between Russia and Ukraine has been hard enough, but what about the war between Hamas and Israel? Seeing the images of kids being torn from their families and cities torn up because of a conflict between two groups, now that is VERY terrifying! People who are aware of the situation believe the conflict could lead to another world war (World War |||).
Now, who started all this? Some say it was the fault of Hamas, while others express it was the Israeli's who are to blame. Diving deeper into facts, some media outlets label Hamas as a criminal terrorist organization. It turns out that Hamas launched a missile attack on Israel, killing thousands of civilians. Hamas then rushed in and kidnapped hundreds of the survivors and took them as their hostages. This attack was totally unexpected and Israel took it as an act of terrorism. Why would anyone want to launch missile's at another country and kidnap survivors? If you didn't think Hama's was to blame, hopefully some light has been shed on that group.
Israel is a tough group to battle, after the attacks, Jewish people vowed revenge on Hamas. Israel gave Hamas a taste of their own medicine, not long after the surprise attack on Israel, Israel launched a bomb in Gaza, which was claimed to be where Hamas was hiding. The destruction of Gaza killed thousands of Gaza civilians. Unfortunately, Hamas got infuriated, just like how Israel had when they were attacked. Hamas vowed for revenge as well. Now, Hamas has been threatening to kill the hostages until Israel surrendered.
Luckily, Israel was not easy to give up. They had vowed to make Hamas pay. There was no way they could let Hamas win. Israel was fierce, and they were not keen to give up on the war. They would fight Hamas. Several countries have joined Israel’s forces for support and aid. Israel is being supplied with weapons and uniforms from several countries.
Now that Israel and Hamas are currently at war, who knows what will happen between them. Hopefully this is not the start of World War |||. As a student, I urge my fellow students to find out more information. Check the news. Read newspapers. Ask friends.
