NFL Week 6 Teams not playing in week 6 (bye week): Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, & Minnesota Vikings.

The NFL is in full swing as the Vikings and Chiefs (who are both on bye weeks) are the only teams who have not yet lost. They are both 5-0. On the other end, nobody is 0-5, but a good amount of teams are 1-4. Those teams are the New England Patriots, Jacksonville Jaguars, Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, and Los Angeles Rams. Be prepared, because every Thursday, Monday, & Sunday night there are NFL games. This Thursday, the San Francisco 49ers versed the Seattle Seahawks. The San Francisco 49ers won in dominant fashion with the final score being 36-24. The 49ers' very own Deebo Samuel had the most electric play with a 76 yard touchdown catch. This week of the NFL is packed with eye opening games such as Jaguars vs Bears which will be played in London. Them playing in London makes it so that the game will be really early! (9:30 am to be exact.) Some other games that will be happening are Buccaneers vs Saints, Commanders vs Ravens, Browns vs Eagles, Texans vs Patriots, Colts vs Titans, Cardinals vs Packers, Chargers vs Broncos, Steelers vs Raiders, Falcons vs Panthers, Lions vs Cowboys, Bengals vs Giants, and finally Bills vs Jets. The back to back Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs are still thriving even without their #1 wide receiver Rashee Rice. Also, the Jacksonville Jaguars are hoping for their star tight end Evan Engram back, who has yet to play this season due to a hamstring injury.
NHL Week 1

The NHL is underway as week 1 has started for the NHL season as the Montreal Canadians and the New York Rangers have one tally for shutouts this season in their first game. The Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin so far has a league leading perfect save rate. This means that he has not allowed a goal yet. Also, the team no one expected to be good, (The Utah Hockey Club) is doing great so far this season, with a record of 2-0. The Utah Hockey Club won against the New York Islanders 6-5. Who would've thought that a new team could've been this good? Lets see if everyone can keep up as there are NHL games going on almost everyday. The New York Rangers came out with an eye dropping score 6-0. Currently Rangers Alternate Captain Chris Kreider is currently leading the team with 2 goals so far this year! They were facing the Pittsburgh Penguins. Another shocking game was on October 10th 2024. The St Louis Blues faced the San Jose Sharks. The sharks had an early lead throughout the two periods. But out of nowhere, the Blues scored 3 goals in nineteen minutes and one goal in overtime with forty seven seconds left to spare, winning them the game. On Wednesday October 9th 2024, the first shutout of the season was by the Montreal Canadiens vs the Toronto Maple Leafs. With Sam Montembeault leading the way with 48 saves leading the team to a 1-0 victory.
MLB Playoffs Mets And Yankees

This week's playoffs for the Mets and the Yankees was absolutely crazy!! First off the Mets have ramped all the way up to their first National League Championship Series since 2015. Francisco Lindor, leading the charge in outstanding fashion, demolished a go ahead grand slam. The magical shot punched the Mets ticket to the match-up with the Los Angeles Dodgers in the round before the World Series. More good news for the Mets, Jeff McNeil is ready to play two games in the minor league to heal. And for the Yankees they have just won a game in the playoffs against the Kansas City Royals in a match of 3-1 a victory for them, also sending them to the American League Championship Series. In the game the best player who did most of the work for the Yankees was Giancarlo Stanton . He pinch hits which means he doesn't have a position on the field. And for the Kansas City Royals the best player who hit the most was Vinnie Pasquantion. He hit one ball and batted four times saving the Royals from an even more dreadful loss. And for Giancarlo Stanton he hit a homerun and only batted three times for the Yankees as they have cooked Kansas City.
And for the Mets they went against the Philadelphia Phillies who were the favorites to win in all the games versus the Mets, but as it turns out, the Mets came out on top. Things were looking badly for the Mets in game 4 of the NLDS. (National League Division Series.) They were losing 1-0 in the bottom of the sixth. But they started the inning off hot with a single, and then followed it up with a walk. Then they got another walk, which loaded the bases. Following that, Franscisco Lindor came up to the plate and CRUSHED a ball to center field, which ended up a homerun, propelling the Mets to a 4-1 victory.
