SHEIN: a big clothing company many people buy clothing from today. Some may not know, but rumor has it that for a long time, SHEIN is also known for abusing labor and child labor laws. They take advantage of poor people from many places around the world that are desperate for money to make a living and make them work strenuous 12 hour days. Lately, many people have been finding weird notes on their tags and packaging. Things like “help me” or “I have dental pain”. This is a big problem, but people could be making this up and posting it for views and likes. Do their workers really need help? What could it be from?
There is a problem though, SHEIN has denied this many times and said that it was “mislabeled” or “misunderstood”. Many investigations have been going on for years but, SHEIN has never been caught and is still in business. So, is it wrong to buy from SHEIN because you would be “supporting SHEIN’s labor” or should you not buy from them and “make the workers broke”. Or what if you don’t buy from them and find out that the controversy was all fake and for clout?
