National Junior Honors Society

What is National Junior Honors Society? The National Junior Honors Society provides an outstanding opportunity to grow with academically accomplished peers who are sharpening the habits needed for success in high school and beyond. When you are a part of "The National Junior Honor Society" you are being recognized as a student who is committed to the five pillars of NJHS: scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.

At Marie Curie 158, The National Junior Honors Society is a group of students picked by Ms. Campbell, Ms. O’Connor and Mr. McHugh. A couple of months ago, NJHS officers were elected and started a campaign with city harvest. NJHS officers will collect non-perishable foods (not open) such as cereal, canned fruits, canned beans, peanut butter, and uncooked pasta. These foods will be distributed throughout New York City, but will mainly be given to people in need. In your homeroom, you will find a box in either the front or back of the class. If you have any  non-perishable foods at home, you can bring them in and put them inside the box. A little donation will go a long way, so help a great cause and fill those donation boxes up.
