Spoiler Alert! The new movie Damsel, starring Millie Bobby Brown has recently come out. Although Tick Tock hasn't said anything yet, Stranger Things fans have already made a move.
If you aren’t one to watch scary movies with jump scares in it, I wouldn’t recommend this for you. The plot is about a princess whose name is Elodie (Millie Bobby Brown), who must marry a prince.
She is uncomfortable with this choice, made by her father Lord Bayford (Ray Winstone), but for her withering kingdom, she decides to do it. The decisions she makes are important to the plot of the story. Perhaps if she didn’t she could’ve been saved from the villain of the story.
When she, and the rest of her family went to the kingdom, they realized how rich and beautiful the kingdom is. Making them even more excited for the marriage. Once they meet, Elodie begins to actually grow feelings for the prince. I think finding true interest in the prince was Elodie's first mistake.
Then, she’s betrayed by the prince, as he sacrifices her for a blood thirsting dragon! It’s there where she must hide and fight from the dragon.
To summarize, Damsel is a movie partially about knowing what is right versus what is wrong, the movie will probably trick you. There will be fun jump scares that sometimes may make you think the dragon is actually there. It's a fun movie which not only challenges the character, but also you. Good luck on escaping from the dragon, and this new and amazing movie!
