When Does It Start?

The Chamber Choir starts on October 27th at 2:20 and ends at 3:20. It’ll continue to be held every Monday in room 125. Depending on what the choir is practicing, extra rehearsals that are needed will be announced in advance by Ms. Allen.

What Activities Are Included?

Some activities that are included in the M.S.158 Chamber Choir are school concerts, NYSSMA Majors, and Music in the Parks. NYSSMA Majors is a competition where the chorus would be evaluated by  judges based on their performance. Music in the Parks is a competition where the chorus would perform for judges, be assessed, and then go to an amusement park for the rest of the trip. 

Additional Information

Unfortunately, the M.S.158 Chamber Choir is only available for kids who participate in chorus; as their art during the school day. However, it’s extremely fun to do and would be a great way to improve your singing skills. If anyone has any questions about the Chamber Choir, you're free to talk to Ms. Allen in room 125!
