Cookie Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups (220g) or 12 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon or 0.17 tablespoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon or 0.0833 tablespoons salt
1/3 cup (80ml) or 5.33 tablespoons vegetable oil
3/4 cup (150g) or 12 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 large egg
1/2 cup (90g) or 8 tablespoons melted chocolate (dark, milk, or semi-sweet)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven and set or you can put it into the air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix the dry ingredients In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. Prepare the wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the oil and sugar until smooth. Add the egg and whisk until combined. Stir in the melted chocolate until fully incorporated.
4. Combine wet and dry Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until the soft dough forms something like this:
5. Add mix-ins Fold in chocolate chips or chunks, if using.
6. Shape the cookies Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
7. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are set. The centers may look soft but will firm up as they cool.
8. Cool Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
