How is war in iran affecting the world?

What is the Iran war?                  

The Iran war is a conflict mainly between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran or Iran for short. This conflict is mainly because president Trump broke a treaty with Iran that limited their nuclear program so the USA and Israel started to strike nuclear plants in Iran and then the war started.

How The War Affects Global Trade?

Iran is a middle eastern county, meaning it has tons of oil. But it also has a crucial strait called the “strait of Hormuzas", which is used to export 23 millions barrels of oil to foreign countries using this strait. Recently the war meant that the strait would be paused. Meaning oil became more valuable and prices around the world spiked up from 2.98 dollars per barrel to 6.40 dollars. At this rate, it will only go up.

How does this affect to the people?

The high spikes in oil prices are making people have to sell their cars to lower the prices depending on the car. Since the people don't have a car anymore to get to work,  people are  losing their jobs and poverty rates go up or people having to sell their homes.

How does this affects countries that aren't involved?

In this war there are tons of countries that aren't involved, this war is affecting them too!! For example in the European Union gas prices went up to 2.60 euros per a liter. Even worse, the USA threatened to strike any countries that continue to trade with Iran like China or Russia. This will lead to a major war and make oil prices go up way higher than now. That would disturb more trade routes and oil would be higher in demand.

Why should the USA needs to make peace?

If the USA does not make peace fast, oil prices will continue to go higher making life difficult for the younger generation and mess up their life. Casualties can also rise, a thousands of American wont ever get to see their dad or mom again affecting their life
