Enhypen concert article

Updated: Nov 15, 2023

In October, Enhypen, one of the most popular 4th gen kpop groups, went to 6 different states in the U.S. and had concerts in each state. I was fortunate enough to get tickets through the presale and attend the concert. In this article, I’ll talk about my experience.

In July, 3 months before the concert, the presale for tickets was held. It was on Ticketmaster. They had one day for people with memberships (which is the one I bought from) and the next day they had one for people without memberships, the general presale. Tickets were being sold rapidly and every time I clicked to buy a ticket, it said it was sold already. Luckily, I got two seats in section 3, for Newark day 2.

On October 19th, my dad picked me up early, in 4th period and took me to the concert. The concert was at Prudential Center. We arrived at 1 pm and luckily, there was a big parking lot right next to the arena so my dad parked there. It was $40 to park for the whole day. As soon as we parked, we ran to the merch booth to buy merch. Almost everything was sold out but I managed to get a shirt, a lightstick, and a picket. In total, it was around $180. We arrived at 1 pm and the concert was at 7 pm so we had to wait for a long time. Me and my dad went to a Wendy’s nearby and looked for some places to go to kill time. It didn’t seem like anything interesting was nearby so we waited in the car for around 2 hours and decided to wait in line. I got a lot of freebies, which are little things like bracelets and photocards that people give out for free. When we went on line, the line wasn’t very long but by the time the doors opened, the line was really long. At 6 pm, the doors opened and we went inside. I saw a few people getting kicked out for having a bag that was too big or bringing things that weren’t allowed.

At the front, there was a box of album sleeves that were made for Enhypen’s upcoming comeback, which is happening on November 17. We waited for another hour and the concert finally started. They performed 23 songs. The songs were:

  1. Drunk-Dazed

  2. Blockbuster

  3. Let Me In (20 CUBE)

  4. Flicker

  5. Fever

  6. Future Perfect (Pass the MIC)

  7. Blessed-Cursed

  8. Attention, please!

  9. ParadoXXX Invasion

  10. Tamed-Dashed

  11. TFW (That Feeling When)

  12. Just a Little Bit

  13. 10 Months

  14. Polaroid Love

  15. Shout Out

  16. Go Big or Go Home

  17. Chaconne

  18. Bills

  19. Criminal LoveSacrifice (Eat Me Up)

  20. Bite Me

  21. One In A Billion

  22. Karma

I screamed a lot, so much that I’m still coughing and I still have a sore throat. The concert made me like a lot of songs, more than I used to, one was 10 Months. 10 Months became one of my favorite songs after the concert, and the members dancing to a cute song made the experience memorable. Another song I started liking more is Polaroid Love. During Polaroid Love, the members went around the arena and gave people interactions. Unfortunately, they didn’t come to my section but they were really close to my section.

In conclusion, I really enjoyed the concert. I’ve been with them since I-Land, the survival show where they were formed and it made me really proud to see that they became so big, both in popularity and the members themselves. As I said before, they are having a comeback on November 17th, so check it out if you’re interested!!! Stan Enhypen and stream Bite Me for a better life and better grades!!!!
