Since Spring is here, let's get to know some flowers. You might see around


Tulips



Did you know that tulips have over 3,000 registered varieties? Tulip colors actually have symbolism. Red tulips mean love, Purple tulips mean respect and  Pink tulips mean admiration.  Since mothers day is coming up, maybe give her some tulips to show your love. 



Dandelions


Did you know that dandelions are edible? Dandelions are a flower, but are widely considered weeds. Dandelion Tea is medically beneficial towards liver function, reduced inflammation, and Digestion. Dandelions are very commonly seen during spring time. So make sure to look out for

them.

 

Roses


Did you know that roses have been around for about 35 million years? Rose bushes can live up to 15 to 20 years, with proper care. The oldest rose bush is said to be 1,000 years old, growing on the wall of Hildesheim Cathedral in Germany. Roses have been here for so long that they have  been recognized as the symbols of love, purity , and status in Roman and Victorian times. Next time you see a rose bush, just know that it's probably older than you. 



Peonies


Did you know Peonies don’t come in blue? Peonies come in many different colors such as white, baby pink, yellow, dark red, and deep purple. However no matter what variety the peonies are, they cannot be blue by nature.. There are three varieties  of peonies, Herbaceous, Tree and Intersectional (Itoh). Now anytime you see blue peonies, you know that they are artificially dyed. 



Red Clover


Did you know that Red Clovers aren’t native to America? Red Clovers originated in Asia Minor, Northwest Africa. and Southeastern Europe. At first Red Clover was grown in Europe, as food given to livestock. But then English Colonists brought the Red Clover to America in the mid-1600s. Now the Red Clover grows freely anywhere in America.
