Things to do on half-days: For 6th Graders
As 8th graders and the most experienced students in our school, we can firmly say that half days are the most fun days of the year. You just hang out with your friends and enjoy yourself. But for first time, sixth graders, what will you actually do to fill your time? There aren't too many options, but here are 5 things to do that will fill your day with memories and fun!

Go out to eat ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our friend groups personal favorite spot is Krave It, but there are plenty of great sports on Bell also. For example, one time we went to T-Swirl Crepe, which was very good. There you could get sweet or savory. We also went to Guac Time once, which is a good place to eat Mexican food. Either way, this is a great place to enjoy some food and time with your friends. A very consistent, good score of 4-stars.
Visit your old school ⭐⭐⭐
Another activity you can do is visit your old elementary school! It’s always nice to see your old teachers and visit your school. When we went to our old elementary school, it recently finished a new extension to their building adding more space for more students. It was amazing to catch up with old teachers and staff members.. However, it can be pretty boring and underwhelming. We give it a 3-star rating.
Go to a friends house ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is our personal favorite thing to do, because it gives you some versatility. You could go out to eat and then do this, as it gives you double the fun. If you have a big group of friends at one house, it delivers every time, as you spend the day with them, and then see them the next day! We recommend this very much! 5-stars.
Go to the movies ⭐⭐
We haven't done this with our friend group, but we can see it being fun! If the movies are your thing, you should like this. However, it could be pretty hard to plan, and expensive. We give this a 2-star rating.
Do Homework ⭐
We beg you. If you have a half day, please do not go right home. Have some fun and relax! Don't do homework straight away. One star-rating, no doubt.
