First of all, let's talk about what is a skin undertone: A skin undertone is the hidden color beneath the surface of your skin. There are four. Knowing your undertone can help you pick out the perfect clothes, makeup, and hair colors that go with your natural skin coloring.

In this article, we will explore how you figure out your undertone and what colors you should have with that will match your unique style.

First step, look at your vein. If your vein is green, you have a warm undertone. If your vein is blue and green, you most likely have a neutral undertone. If your vein is blue and purple, you have a cool undertone. If your vein is teal, you have an olive undertone.

  1. WARM UNDERTONES:

The colors I would recommend you to use are earthy rich colors. These include cream, beige, coral, amber, olive, deep plum, brown, and turquoise. For jewelry, you should wear gold, rose gold, copper, and bronze.

  1. NEUTURAL UNDERTONES:

This undertone is highly versatile and rarely clashes with any color. You can practically wear any color with it. For jewelry, you could either wear gold or silver but rose gold is very flattering on this undertone since it's a mix between the two.

  1. COOL UNDERTONES:

The colors I would recommend for this undertone are pink, red, blue, and green. I would say not to wear earthy colors as they would make your skin look tired. The best jewelry types for this undertone are silver, platinum, and white gold.

  1. OLIVE UNDERTONES:

The colors I would recommend you use are earthy and rich colors. You should wear deep purples, red, brown, and emerald. The best jewelry types for this are gold, bronze, and copper.
