Estalla Qian was a runaway winner for Vice President, with a whopping 270 votes. The closest runner up (Sheya Li), only had 136. For Secretary, Cristal Zhou had 242 votes, but had a close runner up with 210 votes (Elizabeth Nadan).

Samantha Chu (Treasurer) had more votes than anyone, with 283. However, for President, there were three main candidates battling for Student Government supremacy: Alina Lin, Alana Sadikot and Luke Kim.

Alina started with a big lead, and right away, it was clear she was a legitimate candidate. Luke Kim and Alana Sadikot were both at similar vote counts, and at one point they were 5 votes away from each other. However, Alina was still in the lead. Later, Alana hit a patch where she started getting a majority of the votes, leaving Luke Kim in the dust. The race came down to 2 people: Alana Sadikot and Alina Lin. Alina was still winning, but Alana was a close second. The votes had already exceeded the 600’s, with Alina having 200 votes. However, votes for Alana kept coming in, and Alana ended up winning, 210 to 209. Luke Kim was in 3rd place with 144 votes. Alana needed every vote for her success, and that is why your voice matters. If even one person decided not to vote for Alana, this election would have looked a lot different.
