Project 7 is a K-pop survival show airing on JTBC. If you’re unfamiliar with the topic, K-pop survival shows are shows where trainees aspiring to become K-pop idols compete against each other for a spot in the debut group. For this show, 7 out of 100 people will be chosen to debut. Their debut spots are chosen through votes on an app called Weverse, and I’ll talk about how to vote at the end of the article. (By the way, last names are written first and first names are written second in Korean so I wrote it that way.)
Ha Seokhee
If you watched Fantasy Boys, another survival show, you will probably recognize this name. He was on Fantasy Boys and made it to the finale but unfortunately did not make it into the debut lineup. He made his debut as a member of Celest1a in July, 2024 but unfortunately, the group didn’t do well and disbanded after just a few months of activities. He is an amazing vocalist and is one of the limited main vocal materials in the show. His current rank is 29th but unfortunately that is not a very safe rank. The ranks surviving for next round are 1-35 so if we don’t consistently vote he might not make it to the semifinals. Please vote for him and save him from getting eliminated!
Jang Yeojun
Yeojun is also another familiar face. He was a contestant on Boys Planet as a Jellyfish trainee with Gunwook, Yuseop, and Hyunbeen (Yes the Gunwook from Zerobaseone). He is an all rounder and is very versatile. From cute concepts to dark concepts, he can do everything. His ranks are very high (4th as of 11/15/24) but after watching multiple survival shows I realized I can never be too confident that someone is safe. Please vote him!!!
Kwon Yangwoo
Yangwoo is one of the new faces of this list. He wasn’t on any other survival shows or groups. His personality is very bubbly and he is an all rounder. Dance and vocals, he’s good at everything. He is the lowest ranked person in this list. His current rank is 48th and if it stays the same he will not make it to the next round. I’m the most desperate to promote this guy because he is the least safe and I really need him to make it to the next round. He deserves so much more recognition. If you like cute visuals, amazing vocals, amazing dance skills please vote for him!!
Shin Jaewon
Have you heard of the K-pop group The Wind? Jaewon was a member of The Wind but unfortunately left the group a few months back because of personal reasons. He came on this show for another try on becoming an idol. His vocals are amazing, as expected since he was the main vocalist of the group. This will probably be his last chance at becoming an idol and his current rank is 26th and that’s not too bad but again I don’t trust these ranks too much so please consider voting for him!!
Kang Hyunwoo
Hyunwoo is also another contestant of Fantasy Boys that didn’t make it into the final lineup. But, that’s not the only other survival show he was on. He was on LOUD, meaning he was a JYP trainee. Yes, the same JYP with your favorite groups Stray Kids and Twice. He was talented enough to become a JYP trainee but he still hasn’t debuted yet. I think that makes no sense also because his current rank is 13th. With his skills, he could easily be in the top 7 but because not many people vote him, he is stuck at 13th. Make him your one pick and vote him!!
Fong Atilla
Atilla is an icon and an all rounder. He was on a Chinese survival show before joining Project 7. He is a very big K-pop fan (he likes ZB1, Enhypen, and more!) so vote him thinking you’re supporting one of your fellow fandom members. He also knows the trends that we know (like demure, etc) !! Please vote for this trendy diva!!! His current rank is 20th. He should be 1st place so please vote for him and support him!!
Andy
Andy is another icon and all rounder. Like Atilla, he is up to date with the trends too. On a live where he was supposed to appeal himself, he did pose 28. Yes the pose 28 from the Roblox game Dress to Impress. Like who is that DIVA 💜 Andy and Atilla are friends. He was supposed to debut with Yeojun in the K-pop group Arrc but unfortunately did not make it into the group. This might be his last chance to become a K-pop idol so please consider voting for him!!
Now the most important thing, how you can vote. You can vote by first downloading the Weverse app. Make an account and then when it asks you to pick a community to join, search up Project7 and join. There, you can choose 7 people to vote. After doing that, you’ll have to do another vote where you choose what contestants are doing what songs for the next mission. For that, just choose random people because it’s tedious and annoying to find actual trainees for each song. Now, you know how to vote in Project 7!
