We all know about the Grammys, The Super Bowl and more but though these names sound familiar you might not know everything about these events. This article will go into a dive on these events from who is being nominated for a Grammy to who is playing in the Super bowl.
The Grammys
The Grammys are an award show to congratulate artists (Singers) and their accomplishments throughout the year. This year the host of the grammys Trevor Noah for the 5th time. The Grammys will be on live television on February 2nd 2025 at 7:00 pm. This year was the 67 Grammys and was hosted in California Los Angeles. This year Kendrick Lamar won the most Grammys at the whole event in 2025 with 5 Grammys out of the 7 he was nominated for.
Super Bowl
The Super Bowl is a very big sports event. This year's big game is Super Bowl 59. Last year Usher sang at Super Bowl 58, but this year 17 time Grammy winning artist Kendirck Lamar is singing at halftime. The teams playing are the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. The name “Kansas City Chiefs” might sound familiar. Probably because the Chiefs are playing in the Super Bowl for the 3rd time in a row. Another reason the name might sound familiar is because the tight end (Travis Kelce) is dating one of the most famous artists in the world, Taylor Swift. The Super Bowl is being hosted February 9th 2025 at 6:30 pm. The entire Curious Times staff knows the Chiefs will win.
Groundhog Day
Groundhog day is a day to determine when winter will end and spring will start. It is believed that if the groundhog sees a shadow the winter will continue for 6 more weeks. If not then there will be an early spring which was only ever recorded about 20 times the latest being 2024. Every year there is a holiday on February 2nd. They have used the same groundhog for a while now, the groundhog they use is about 130 years old!!
