As a connoisseur of K-pop, we all know that Itzy’s been doing almost nothing these days. But that changes in 2024. They were one of the first to release K-pop music in 2024! They released a new album by the name of ‘Born to be”! However, there’s something wrong. It’s missing someone. Can you guess? It’s Lia. But what happened to her? In the article, we will talk about what happened to Lia, and whatever’s going on within JYPE.
First, Lia. As some of you MIDZYs will know, she is on hiatus due to her anxiety disorder. Due to the hiatus, she wasn’t there during the process of Born to be, and won’t be present at Itzy’s Second World Tour. So all you people who are biased with Lia, just because Itzy is coming doesn’t mean that she will be there, alright? Anyway, that’s the thing with Itzy.
Second, the album Born To Be. It was released on January 8th, 2024. This album has everyone’s solo songs (including Lia) but in songs where everyone’s singing, Lia is missing. There are 10 songs in this studio album. These songs are:

Each of them had a different release date, but the album released on the 8th. Each song’s release date written between the parenthesis. I’m listening to them, and honestly, I think Born To Be is fire, Escalator’s also fire, and Blossom is really nice. It’s nice to listen to their music after Itzy’s last EP, Kill My Doubt, which also has good songs. You should listen to it, like, right now.
Next, JYPE.
On December 4th, NMIXX released a new single. If you’ve been on Tiktok, and you like K-pop, then you would have heard of it at least once. It’s Soñar (Breaker). One of the most trending music right now, It’s one of the best K-pop songs of 2023.
On December 1st, VCHA, the newest girl group by JYPE, released it pre-debut song Ready for the World, and they will be debut this 24th.
Twice JP released a new single, called Dance Again, on December 11th.
2AM, a less-known JYP group, released a DIgital Single, named ‘If You Change Your Mind’.
On Monday, NMIXX released a new album ‘Fe304: BREAK’. The songs are all great! Like, you should listen to them.
